Treasurer Report
889.85 saving – pier fund
3024.51 general fund balance – checking
$500 outstanding annual dues – Due now
Bills (Pier Fund) – Atty Fees $702, then another bill from Macrone came in for $795, we don’t have that amount of money….. Will address how to deal with bills later in the meeting.
Front Sign Area – Stumps were removed today. $150. Gone!
Mike Dove – D&D Tree did the work.
2 Tree were bought last week, trees need to be planted.
We need to dig holes to plant the trees tomorrow night around 7pm.
Star Magnolias are the type of tree we got.
Mike Scruggs may be able to help. Kevin Muskgrove gets home at 6:30. John Latuperissa home by 6:30pm. Will be there.
Pier Issue – Macrone – sent dated materials from 1981 and 1977, said that the pier was not to have any boats on it. Basically, if a community has private piers, then you cannot have a community pier with boats. The developer made this deal with the county. Rec use only, fishing and swimming, not for any maritime use.
County has not been any help on this. With the help of the atty’s things have been up and down.
John L- Remember the pier developer that I had come out? John has experience with this. His experience was that the builders are the ones that can get it through the county. I called this guy Chuck up, and he said you guys are going about it all the wrong way. This guy thinks that there may be a ray of sunlight…..so before we throw the towel in, I think it would be worth our time having a conversation with him. Bottom line, is that he is willing to meet with us.
1-Lets get a letter together to close our accounts and severe our agreement with our attys and Macrone. Motion, all in favor. Passed (Carrie Zambrana-Treasurer to write a letter to attys and to Macrone to settle final balances and terminate further obligations or agreements.)

John L- I just need to get the final electronic copy to greg to post to the website.
They just need to be filed with the county.
Election month is June. Normally we would have nominations etc. But we didn’t have a May meeting. We have a quorum.
Don – I’ll stay here another year, at least until we get the pier issue resolved.
John – If someone else would like to, I’ll be more than willing to step down.
