RHHA Meeting Minutes for Tuesday June 12, 7pm

First Item of business:

Minutes Approved: by voice

 

Treasurer Report: Carrie Zambrana

1 expense stamps $9 for bill dues

2355.89 account balance / minus above expense

Savings / Pier Fund $1237.89

Coming up expenses include Gazeebo work and mulch at sign has been approved, so that will be coming.

Letters for Dues went out to each family. 1 Family indicated that they thought that they had paid dues, but the issue was clarified.

 

Pier Committee: Joe Z Called 2 companies came out for a bid, but did not hear anything back….and1 an another one. I’ll try them again. We are standing at just reuilding the T only. We will only have them do necc. pilings and stringers, so they’re straight. We’ll do the decking ourselves.

 

Election:

1st thing:

Opened up to floor for Nominations: No one presented any additional nominations.

Noted that current candidates have been nominated for another year in same positions. All candidates accepted that responsibility.

Noted that proxies were submitted for 3 households,

Gillespie, Myer, and Dunbar, all in favor of current officers.

Next:

Motion on floor to cast vote to elect officers for 2012-2013 RHHA election cycle. Motion seconded.

 

All in Favor w/ voice vote to retain current officers for Jun 2012 – June 2013.

All present and listed above, plus proxies voted in favor of re-electing current candidates.

Any Remaining business:

Jo: One thing we talked about was Joe using roundup up at the sign.

Jo will weed w roundup.

Matthew – I’ll hit the poison Ivy with some poison.

 

Possibility: Be aware that there may be some people going form pier to pier in our creek stealing crabs. We found some blue crab traps, fully baited, empty, and up on the pier causing all sorts of smell.
