Don: We had the hearing it went great. Couldn’t be better. All indications are that they will approve what we want.

The county pleaded out whole case and recommended that our variance and special exception be granted.

Should take no more than 30 days, but he said we would probably get it in 15.

I think we should have the permit in hand within 30 days.

All they have to do is sign of on it and print it up.

It went great.

No VP Report.

 

Treasury Report:

How many people have paid the assessment? Just a number, not names.

Current $88.55 operating account

Pier fund $5,840.17

$3,500 is special assessment fees collected. 7 people, plus one tonight ($4,000)

also have $2,300 for one member bond and slip fee.

We have collected some dues for 2013, and $100 for 2014 collected.

 

Expenses, storm water bill (new) $109.00, annual fee we will have to pay.

insurance for pier, $425 … liability.

Are we considered no-profit? JOE Z.

 

We don’t have an IRS exemption. We are non-profit, we may have to see what we need to do.

We just paid $1750 to the county for the hearing for the variance and special exception.

 

Don: You owe me

$70, because I had to pay out of pocket for 2 extra signs.

 

2013 dues are due this month. I have invoices now, and the rest will go out in the mail.

 

Don: While we’re talking about the pier. to Rita, ask Joe if he is going to want a slip.

 

Carrie: We have to be prepared for the next bill to the builder. Probably when he starts work, and then when he is done.

 

Don: I do have a bill from the county for the hearing that we had.

Hearing $480

Special Exception $1200

Signs = $140

 

He also had some information for us from the health dept and the state that they have no objections to what we were asking for.

 

Don: We will still need some funds to re-deck the pier going out to the tee. The gazebo and the shed also need repair.

 

Jo F – The sign up front looks really good.

 

Don: Any more questions on the pier issues for right now? We are 90% there right now.

 

Anita: I’m glad that is over.

 

Don: Any other new business?

 

Jo F- Christmas Party? Tuesday in December 10 @ Jo and Jan’s. We’ll figure out the details later.

Don: Is the Association providing the alcohol okay?

 

Jo F: Sure.

 

Don: We will definitely have a meeting next month.

 

Carrie: Tuesday November 12? at Anita and Joe’s house. 7pm.

 

Don: Any other business?

 

We paid the fees when we filed the permit, right?

 

Joe Z: Yes.

 

Don: If anyone talks to anyone who wasn’t here tonight, tell them how things went.

 

Carrie: The new neighbors… have anyone met them? I have their names, but no email address.
