Old Biz=Pier\/ Clean up \/<\/p>\n
Still pursuing the quest for a trailer to load up all the branches and clipping from the rec area clean up. Joe Zambrana trimmed everything up and need help getting it to the dump.<\/p>\n

Trying to figure out a way to shore-up the front sign so that it is structurally secure. Will use angle iron.<\/p>\n

Pier issue \u2013 We gotta get together sometimes and go up to the county to rebuild in like kind. I don\u2019t think there will be a problem getting the permit to rebuild in like kind.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
People looking at the house across the street were interested in the pier, and I told them that they would be the low end of the totem pole.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Joe H-We can just let the contractor pull the permit so that we don\u2019t have to waste our time.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Don \u2013 The other guy said that he\u2019d do it and it would cost $1,000.<\/p>\n

New Biz?<\/p>\n
Joe Z….I offered up our pier for the oyster restoration project. We now have 3 oyster boxes down there.<\/p>\n
They pick up the mature oysters in June and put them out in an oyster bed they are constructing, then they refill you boxes with spats.<\/p>\n

Since this is October, should we schedule some sort of a Christmas Party?<\/p>\n

Rita \u2013 I think we should not have a meeting next month, bc so many people get so busy.<\/p>\n
Don \u2013 I think we should have a meeting bc it energizes us to get stuff done.<\/p>\n

Joe Z \u2013 you (Don) could write a letter to Councilman….Mr. Walker to get the thing down at the end of the road done. There are 4 of them in the neighborhood. They keep toying with it. But they are only down there for about 10 minutes at a time and don\u2019t seem to get anything done. If you send Walker a letter, then I think maybe we could get them down there to finish up the work.<\/p>\n
